It’s that time again, a chance to get away from your school, the pressures and gather in the beautiful Black Hills. We will be at Cedar Canyon Camp in the Black Hills outside of Rapid City, South Dakota from September 24-26, 2021.

You will experience who God is with college students from the six Campus Ventures ministries. It is a weekend of worship, fun, input from our friend/alumni Caleb Burton, and a chance to explore Rapid City or the Black Hills of South Dakota.

SPEAKER: Caleb Burton, Depot Church pastor from Deer Lodge, Montana

“Walking in the Spirit”

I was born and raised in Casper, Wyoming and graduated from the University of Wyoming in 1995. I met my wife at U.W. and Shelly and I were married the summer of our sophomore year.  While at the University of Wyoming Shelly and I first became involved with the BSU when it was under Dave Medders leadership. When it transitioned to Campus Ventures Shelly and I both joined as Associate staff members. In 1995 we moved to Casper and in partnership with Janelle Weeks we officially started Campus Ventures at Casper College. During this time we were also assisting Dave Medders in leading short term missions teams. While on our second short term mission to Athens, Greece to work with refugees Shelly and I began to pray about moving to Athens to work as missionaries with the International Teams Refugee Team in Athens. We returned to the States in 2000 to pastor a small Evangelical Free church in Deer Lodge, Montana where we are still located.
